Calendar - Outlook Live

I've been using Outlook to access my Hotmail account. Recently I updated to
Outlook Live. Now when I open the Calendar, it opens a blank Calendar instead
of the one that I've been using. How do I get it to default to the Calendar
in Personal Folders?
 
Make your Personal Folders the default delivery location in Tools-> E-mail
Accounts-> Next

That fixed the calendar problem, but now my email defaults to Personal
Folders, instead of my @hotmail.com folder where my email resides.

Well you can only have one default delivery location ;-) Why don't you use
the Calendar in the Hotmail account?

There is no calendar in my Hotmail account. I'm about ready to dump Hotmail,
because it doesn't interface very well with Outlook. What would you suggest
for me to use as an email account that is fully compatible with Outlook?
