I keep getting error message when running Cakewalk Guitar pro3 on Windows XP
Home. It allows me to send error report to Microsoft as it is a Microsoft
problem, but after having sent numerous reports i still have no reply. I have
to autosave every minute when working on projects as i lose any unsaved data.
Its becoming a real pain as i have invested in a powerful system that should
easily cope, and run no other software to give me maximum power and minimum
interferance. Would really appreciate any advice as my knowledge of systems
is minimal.Thanks

You won't get a reply. Those reports are used by Microsoft to see
whether their OS is doing anything wrong, or whether it might do
something better. But the basic problem is with Cakewalk. You've
apparently hit a bug in that program, and you should complain to them.

First step is to go to the CakeWalk Guitar Pro web page support section and
look to see if there are any similar issues from other users.

And you don't get a reply from M$. Sending Error reports will do absolutely
nothing for you. I would disable it.

It is a Microsoft error, CAUSED by Guitar Pro, therfore, it is Cakewalks
problem.

I don't know why you say a problem with a specific program is "a
Microsoft problem". Contact the Cakewalk tech support people for
problems with their software.
