We are letting our users set their outlook profiles into cached exchange
mode using Outlook 2003. How could one tell if users are using outlook
2003 in cached exchange mode? Are there any registry keys we could look
for?

You'll find an *.ost file then with the date of when the last closed
Outlook. By default this file is located in;
C:\Documents and Settings\%username%\Local Settings\Application
Data\Microsoft\Outlook

Hi Eric,

Thanks for posting here and thanks for Roady's info!

It's hard for us to tell whether the user has checked the Cached Exchange
Mode in Outlook 2003 by checking the registry.

One simple method is to check whether user has checked the "Use Cached
Exchange Mode" option in Outlook settings.

Or you may like to try Roady's suggestion as well.

I hope the information helps. Have a nice day!

Sincerely,

Arnold Gao
