Hi,

What exactly does the "Cached Exchange Mode" do in Office
2003? Is it a good idea to have this box checked when
customizing office? If not what are the downsides?

Thank you,

Rume

It creates an Offline folder which is handy when you are not always
connected to the Exchange server. It also brings down Outlook/Exchange
network traffic down by 60-70% in conjunction with Exchange 2003. Also note
that the Junk E-mail filter only works when you are in cached Exchange mode
