I recently ran the program SpaceMonger on my computer to
see where all my hard drive space had gone. To my
surprise, it showed 30 gigs where being used by a dozen
or so huge files. The files are in C:/Documents and
Settings/User/Local Settings/Temp/CabGeneric. All have
strange names such as "=tq-8g-l." and "= b". Their
location in the temp folder makes me especially skeptical
of their importance, and I was wondering if anybody knew
what these files are and if it is safe to get rid of
them. Any help is greatly appreciated.
thanks,
Adam
