hello. i em installing visual studios on my pc , i copied the files from the
cd to my jumpdrive then my windows OS (so i can not worry abt the cd). So
its in a folder i created all the installation files, but middle of setups i
get this error indicating "the file XXXXXXXX.cab is not found so i went to
tht folder where the file was in (well regarding the error) it was their
however but when i hit retry the file wont get retrieved. How can i get
around this?

hmmm,
you might want to copy the file into another directory then try to see if
browsing to it will help,
or you might try to use the "expand" command and unpack the cab file and see
if you
can maybe merge them into your installation or onto the jumpdrive or
both.....

But keep in mind, that visual studio is an m.s. product that also uses a key
for
protection. Your install may not lend itself to the installation method via
jump drive.

Isnt v.s. basic avail for free?
