ca i used word 2000 for read mail filesl

i removed microsoft office standar edition 2003, since then i cannot open
the files in my mail, i try whith others program don,t work, i try with
word 2000, nothing,
so is it possible to open files from mail ????

It sounds to me that by removing Office 2003, it's removed all of the file
extension associations that tell Windows what program to use for which file
extension. I wouldn't be sure, though, because you've asked this question in
a forum for questions about Microsoft Access, the database product that is
part of Office, rather than for questions about Office itself. Try in that
forum and you'll probably get better quality help...
 
When you installed MS Office2003, your mail files were taken out of the
folders for your previous and put in folders for MS Office 2003. You need to
do some research to find out what both sets of folders were and if MS Office
2003 used the same file format as your previous version. If you are lucky it
did and all you would have to do is recreate your previous version files and
copy the files from the 2003 folders into the new folders.
