I am facing the following,
When I start my PC, and have to click onto my user
account to gain access to my desktop, it makes a very
long time and when i finally get into windows i get the
message:
Windows cannot find 'C:\Windows\System32
\System32.exe.'Make sure you typed the name correctly,
and then try again. T search for a file, click the Start
Button, and then click Search'.
I believe that this is the cause of the slow down. Please
advise.
Sincerely,
J. Wiafe, Esq
Ps. I have already tried a system restore which has not
worked. In fact since the successful removal of the worm
virus from my PC which required the shutting off of
system restore, in order to fully remove the virus, i
have lost all my restore points as a consequence. Could
you also advise if there is any way of recovering them.
Thank you.
