Hi all

Not sure what my problem is, I've recently got connected to the internet VIA
cable and I've hadn't had a connection for a while. I've downloaded a bunch
of updates from the windows uptade web site(about 50). Ever since those were
installed, I keep getting this message box pop-up which says
c:\WINDOWS\system32\verclsid.exe when I try to open certain applications.
Sometime the application opens, sometime not, sometimes more than one window
will open. Can anyone shed some light on this for me and what I can do to
resolve it. It's getting annoying.

Regards

You may experience problems in Windows Explorer or in the Windows shell
after you install security update MS06-015
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/918165
If the above didn't help then try to copy that file from another machine to
that path:
C:\Windows\System32\<the file here>

Be sure your machine is clean from malwares and run disk cleanup.
HTH.

nass
