Hi there,

There are update files (security updates, critical updates, update rollups,
drivers etc )... You should not delete the content!

the files in this folder are required for future hotfix installations. It's
not an uninstaller folder, it's a cache folder for the newest versions of
windows files. Some MS hotfixes contain older versions of certain files, in
such a case files from $hf_mig$ will be used to update the system.

You can however safely delete the $NtUninstall folders. Just wait for a
couple of days to make sure that the updates don't give you any trouble and
then you can delete them safely

$hf_mig$ can be deleted with no ill effects I do it all the time
and it gets recreated when a new hotfix is installed.

Yes, but as the previous posters have stated, you SHOULD NOT delete it!
MS says it _IS_ needed, as future hotfixes _MAY_ require it. Without it a
future hotfix may UNDO portions of a previous hotfix, with no warning or
note at all. So you're taking chances by deleting it...
