C# Standard and VSS

Yes. You can access the Visual SourceSafe from Visual Studio using Source
Control sub-menu under File menu.
 
With VS.Net 2003 Standard - you can use SourceSafe in stand-alone mode.

For integrated Source Control, you'll need VS.Net 2003 Professional or
VS.Net 2003 Enterprise.
