I have Win2k, SP4, and when the computer is finished booting I get a
large blank window on the screen. Along the top it says:
"Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library"
Anyone have any idea why this is coming up and how to get rid of it?
(One thing I recall is that I just installed the "Security Update,
February 13, 2002 (MSXML 4.0)" recently from Windows update, and now I
ntoiced is comes up again when I run the Update program even though it
says it is already installed).
