C# for windows application

Is it not practical to develop windows application ujsing
c# ?
Its a big question and hitch going in our organisation,
please let me know of any good articles, sample projects
etc by which it seems as if c# is not bad for windows
application.

C# is an excellent tool to develop Windows, Web and PocketPC apps in
addition to Windows Services. Just look at some of the incredible 3rd
party tools out there which boast "Written entirely in C#" or Entierly in
VB.NET. MSDN is probably the best place to start but in general the
assumption is that a given language is OK to write applications in. I'm not
sure why C# has the presumption of guilt that it's not OK and it needs to
prove it is. There are sooooooooooo many people writing in .NET right now
that it's self evident.
