How can i fix this. my D: drive is still availible but i can't boot
into windows.
i can't repair windows because i don't get the option when i boot with
my windows cd.

How can i repair it with out formating my c: drive. is there a boot
disc i can use to make a repair from my xpcd.

u just buy a boot disk or u just buy a new c drive, u must pay money
man. u can't **** for free.

when u try to repair you are not doing it from the first screen are you?..if
so you need to do it from the 3rd screen..boot from from cd..1st screen hit
enter to set up windows..2nd hit f8 key to accept terms..then on 3rd screen
you should get the repair prompt..if the hard drive is corrupt or it cannot
find previous versions it will tell you or there will be no repair
prompt......the other way round it is to use your D drive ..... make that
the master(create a partition so u dont lose data on the drive) and install
windows to that drive...use your old c drive as a slave and you will be able
to access it when u get windows loaded onto your D drive which will now be
your C drive....

Put your Windows XP CD in the CD drive and boot to it. Start a normal
install but choose Repair Install when that option is presented. Now you
can do a repair install or whatever you wish.
