Sirs

I use Window XP. When I open Window Explore (setting view
by View/Explore bar/folder)then when i right click on any
folder on the right window, the "Explore" do not list at
the top. In stead, on the top is "Browse with the ACDsee"
and then "Search"...

It means that i can not open any folder directly on the
right window by double click on them. To open it i have
to right-click, choose "explore" or i have to point to
this folder exactly on the left window. All of the
actions cost me time and it is relly bad

Can anyone help me to solve this

Thanks very much in advance

Click Start | Run | and type "regsvr32 /i shell32"
[Courtesy of MVP David Candy]

The above command resets the default for "File Folders" which impacts
right-clicking the Folder and directories. After running this command,
"Open" is set as the default right-click context menu item.

To have explorer as default, open Registry Editor and goto,
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Folder\shell
Set the default value (right-side) to "explore" without quotes.

[if you want to sort the order of context menus, type explorer, open,
browse..... in the default key. [Again, thx to David]

Or, visit MVP Kelly's site [www.kellys-korner-xp.com/xp_tweaks.htm] and
apply the folder "double pane" registry fix.
