Busy LAN connection.

I have two computers running WindowsXP with SP2 (updated right now) at
home and they keep on transfering data among themselves even tho i am
not doing anything. can't figure out what is happening. what is my LAN
being used for?

below is a log made by a packet scanner, and this keeps on going on
and on for the whole time the computers are connected. the ports
change everytime when either one of the computers is restarted. thanks
in adavance.

Go to a CMD prompt, and type IPCONFIG. If your 'Default Gateway' (router)
address is 192.168.0.1 , it is verifying the ...70 machine connection. (if
it lost the connection, you would see a notification balloon about that, and
you can unplug the cable to see that.)
