I use Outlook 2003 with BCM and am having problems. On all
accounts/contacts, my entire mailbox is shown as account history. It is not
possible to add any item to an account and the Business Tools menu has
disappeared. It looks like the BCM add-in is not loading properly.
This is apparaently not an unknown problem, under
http://www.slipstick.com/bcm/bcmfaq.aspx (Known Problems) I read the
following:
"I no longer see the Business Tools menu or toolbar after I start Outlook.
How can I get the menu back?

If you do not see the menu or toolbar, it usually means the BCM add-in
failed to load. To try to get it back, make a backup of the Windows
registry, then run the registry editor (Regedit.exe or Regedt32.exe). In the
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Office\Outlook\Addins\Microsoft.Busine
ssSolutions.eCRM.OutlookAddIn.Connect.1 key, double-click LoadBehavior and
change its value to 3. Then restart Outlook."
I tried this remedy to no avail, the value was already 3 in my registry. I
also tried to load BCM via the add-in manager; however I do not know the
name of the add-in .dll or .exe. I have also run the app "EnableBCM.exe";
this reports that BCM is enabled.
Any ideas before I throw out the app for good?
