By bookmarking the first table cell (card) and using REF fields in the
others. When you've finished your editing press Ctrl-A to select the entire
document and press F9 to update the REF fields.
You'll either get your updates or error codes. The error codes would
indicate that you squashed your bookmark during editing (this is easy to
do). If that happens, reselect the first card and apply your bookmark
designation again.
BTW, do all of your formatting using styles.

when editing fields in the business card template in Word (2003), how do
you edit one field and have all the other cards on the page change, so you
don't have to change each one?
