Hi everyone
I have XP Pro PS2 and Outlook 2003 and am the only user. So far as I'm
aware, I could access Outlook calendar in "Business" or "Personal" modes by
my logging into XP Pro as "Me Business" or "Me Personal" to keep these
elements separate, but is it possible to do some sort of Business/Personal
switch within Outlook? That would prevent my having to log out or switch
between my XP Pro user identities merely to check the other calendar. What
I mean is that, if accessing the calendar with my "Personal head" on, I'd
want the Business entries to be simply a block of time stating <BUSINESS>,
say Mon to Fri 0900 to 1700 without any details but be able to see details
of personal appointments such as a dinner date, cinema etc. If I access the
calendar with my "Business head" on, I'd want details of business
appointments to be displayed and simply block out the individual social
appointments <SOCIAL> without having each one detailed.
I don't know if this is an inherent capability within Outlook (if so, what
keyword/phrase would I enter into Google to research this further?) or if
there's a workaround. It may seem excessive as I'm the only user but it is
possible that a work colleague (for instance) might see the personal
elements in the calendar and become aware of my outside committments.
Obviously, that's nothing to do with them!!!
Thanks for your time and patience.
