I have a problem with my computer and can only get it to boot in safe mode. I
would like to burn some pictures that are very important to me before i go
fixing the problem and maybe loose everything. I can see al the files i need
to burn and can navigate fine in safe mode but windows will not recognize
that there is a "burnable" disk in the drive and keeps asking me for one. Has
anybody ever tried to do this? any help would be greatly apprieciated, thank
you in advance.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think it's possible. What I
would do (because you have USB support in safe mode) is to purchase a USB
'pen drive' (they're quite cheap nowadays) and copy the files to that. That
would appear to be the simplest solution to me. Depending on where you look,
a 512MB model can be had for around £25.
