Recently installed Iomega CD RW external USB drive on Windows XP (SP2). Wish
to backup quick books directly to the RW disk (not go through the CD Burning
file). Any suggestions?

The rudimentary, native CD recording program in
Windows XP does not support packet writing.
Packet writing is available when you purchase
and install a more sophisticated CD recording
program, such as Nero (http://www.nero.com/us/index.html).

Thank you for your prompt response!

I have installed the third party software on the computer (Iomega Drag 'n
Drop w/ HotBurn). Windows XP insists on saving to the CD Burning folder when
I select the appropriate CD RW drive from the "Save to" menu. It even
changes when I manually enter the drive letter in the box! I think I need to
disable Window's CD Burning program, but the properties box on this external
USB CD burner does not have a recorder tab. Thank you for your help!
