bumpin out of my browser

hi all. I dont know if you can help me w/ this
situation....
i am attempting to access a friends website. Her home
page shows up perfectly fine w/ her splash screen made up
w/ flash - however when i attempt to link on to one of
her drop down menu links , it would BUMP me out of the
browser??????? I seem to access it perfectly fine at work
but i cannot access at home and apparently my personal
computer/browser is the only one that gives me a hard
time.

I have ie 6.0 vs.

i would appreciate any of your assistance....

Upgrade to IE 6 SP1 if you haven't done so already, and then apply all the security updates from Microsoft, including the Outlook Express update 837009.

Hey. M getting similar problem. My browser keeps closing when it tries to return search results from search engines eg. Altavista, Yahoo or Google. Any other trype of browsing's fine. This problem sort of started after i updated my ie6 with SP1, Q837009, Q832894 and Q8311167. M quite reluctant to remove those updates at the moment as it took an entire day to do the updates. Any other ideas, please

....only tick the JIT compiler box and leave the Java boxes un checked
(default)

IE 6.

Try this: Tools > Internet Options > Advanced > Browsing
Uncheck the Enable 3rd party browser extensions

If this clears your problem then find out who the malware is.
