Use of a bulk mailer is not always for spamming Tom. I manage a
co-operative where the primary means of communication with members on a
daily basis is email, and send out 300 emails several times a week.

No Tom, I have legitimate reasons.

What I was actually wondering with these 'free' Bulk Mailer programs was
whether a catch existed ie. such as my email list being harvested by the
program!

I use Group Email Free, it doesn't call home.

I came across the free version of Auto Mailer 1.10 (
http://www.automsw.com/features.html ) a while back which looked pretty
good. Does anyone have any good/bad experience of using this software?

Have you had a look at SOLWAY'S MULTIMAIL?

I have used to for an Ezine I distribute for about 5 years now and it
has never failed me. One of the beauties of this program is that it
keeps a log of what has gone out - thus, if there happens to be a
hiccup during your intial send, you can see exactly who has received
it and pick up from there.
