Hi -- some worksheet functions that appear in the Access
Help menu result in an 'undefined function' error when I
use them in a query. For example, I entered the
following expression in the field box of a simple
query: 'mode1: mode(field1)'. I have had similar
problems with the concatenate worksheet function.

Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Hi,
Well normally Worksheet functions would pertain to the Excel library, no?
In any case, to make sure, go into the Object Browser and do a search on the
function
in question. If it doesn't show up, it's not usable without referencing the
appropriate library.

The Help is a bit misleading sometimes as it seems to throw in some things
that belong in other libraries
(Office or Excel).

"Worksheet" functions in a database product?

You are looking at the wrong help file, no?
