Hello all,

This has been driving me crazy for the past little while. I forgot where I
looked this up before. There is a windows built-in application/utility that
allows you to choose "run check disk on next boot", "run check disk
automatically", "never run check disk", or something similar. I forogt if
that is for Windows XP or for my server. That utility is just a little
application that has a couple check boxes and that's it. I am sure I used it
before but no matter how hard I think, I can't remember what's the name for
that app... Any one knows what app that I was referring to? TIA.

Could it be Error-checking?

My computer -> right-click any drive (C: drive, for example), select
Properties, click the Tools tab, and Check Now.

Mark, Thanks for the attempt. But no, it set the option for next time boot
up. and it is an stand alone application that come with XP (or may be 2003
