I have a folder contentIE with 275,000 files taking up
2GB and running cpu at times 98%. Cannot delete-access
denied. What is this? How do I get rid of it? I am
ready to change browsers, I have been told that it it a
folder that Internet Explorer has stored pages, images or
whatever in and that it can be used for thers to render.
I am prepared to comletely clean my hard drive and start
from scratch, but how to without a recovery disc?

Use the temporary file cache controls within the
options of IE to empty this and see how far down
it comes. Two gigs is rather high
