After installing Windows XP SP2 the Info Center View in
Windows Media Player not longer works. It does not
display any information. I tried it on two machines, same
results.

Regards,

Ted Steenvoorden

All my machines took to SP2 OK except my
Shuttle with Media Center.. After installing SP2 it now
locks on boot up (loading drivers).

I reformated and loaded only MCE Disk#1&2 then SP2..
Same result. I have now reformed and reinstalled SP1.

Hope you did't lose much.

Have the same problem! Has anyone come up with a fix for this or is it back
to SP1!

If you think its worth "lowering" your security settings this may be
fixed by changing the settings for the Internet Zone in Internet
Explorer.

Select: Tools > Internet Options > Security Tab > Custom level
Go to: Access data sources across domains and select:
"Enable"
(or select "Prompt" - then you have to press OK every time you _start_
Media player).
