I found a bug in the Excel GCD function.

To summarize, try typing into a cell
=GCD(6*0.018*1000,1000)
and you'll see that Excel gets confused. :-(

There seems to be some issue as to how the result is truncated to an integer
within the GCD function as documented.

For example:

=GCD(TRUNC(6*0.018*1000),1000)-->4

Although

A1: =6*0.018*1000
A2: 108
A3: =A1=A2 --> TRUE
