Hi,
I have a problem in that I appear to have picked up a
malicious bug from the Net which has added an extra tool-
bar below the Address box in IE. This bar starts with a
search-box titled 'ISEARCH', then has four buttons to the
right: 'Popups Blocked'; Zoom; E-Mail; Hot-Offers.
What's more, when I now right-click on the grey menu/tool
bars in IE, the options to change the tool bar have been
disabled!
This ISEARCH add-on appears to be affecting Web searching,
in that it doesn't seem to allow more than two IE windows
to open at the same time, plus I suspect it could be doing
other things, so want to get rid of it.
When I had this problem a couple of weeks ago, I simply
restored Windows XP back to an earlier point, and the
problem went away. But this time I've found that all my
Restore-Points have been deleted!!
How do I 'uninstall' this addition to IE?
Is there anyway to recover my previous Restore Points?
How do I uninstall IE and then reinstall? Would this
remove the problem?
Would appreciate any help,
regards, Chris.
