How do I change my settings for buffering? It isn't keeping up I think. I'm
windows xp and whenever I try to watch a news clip or trailer, it buffers,
starts to play for 10 sec and starts buffering all over again. This is
constant. Is there somthing I can do to change this. I have DSL. I always set
it to this. Is there somewhere in my program I can change the settings for
buffering? New and confused.
Thanks in advance.

Buffering means network congestion. Although you have DSL it is technically
a shared service... the more neighbors you have that have DSL, the more of
them are sharing your line to the DSL exchange.

You might want to ask your ISP if there is a faster service... although this
will cost more $s.

There are always peak times... roughtly 6pm to 10pm every night. If you try
to watch videos at other times, you may find there is less congestion. If
it's a popular video, it may be difficult to watch at any time!
