One of our new Dell just had a BSOD.

Stop: 0x00000035
parameter 1 86b64810
parameter 2 00000000
parameter 3 00000000
parameter 4 00000000

I have searched through Google Group, MSKB and eventid.net
but couldn't find any idea what to look for.

Please help.

Thanks.

Stop errors are terribly difficult to resolve. You might get a clue
from repeated warnings or errors in Event Viewer logs. I would look
carefully at startup programs, particularly anything that is accessing
the CPU sensors or other CPU information (temperature monitors come to
mind). You might consider a bright light and rubber hose on the user,
to make absolutely certain that the user has not hacked the registry.
Make sure that the BIOS, chipset drivers, and video driver are the
latest offered by Dell. Do a complete RAM test; memtest86.exe is free.
Do an HD test with the manufacturer's drive utility. ...and call Dell
support; you might get lucky.
