BSOD on returning from hibernation

I'm getting a 0x0000007F error when returning from hibernation. I don't get
this error when I normally boot so I was wondering whether anyone knew how to
resolve this problem.

More often than not, an obsolete driver is involved. Non microsoft drivers
are the most likely cause.
Uncommon running background programs and utilities are also suspect.
