This scared me last night. I was running MS AntiSpyware and Total
Uninstall at the same time a boof I get this BSOD. I have'nt seen
one of these since my Win 98 SE days.

Anyways I thought I's take a photo of it and see if anyone on this
newsgroup can tell me what it means.

Update your hardware drivers directly from the manufacturer web page for
each component.
CHKDSK and defragment your hard disk drive.

Thanks, but which ones. Microsoft in their wisdom never did get around
to helping the end user on this front with their OS's. It could be any
number of drivers.

All of them.. Why be picky at this point. You likely only have:
Chipset, Video Card, Network Card, Modem, Sound Card and .. No - that is
probably all of them.. =)

Why would Microsoft be responsible for products they did not create/sell?
That's why you NEVER get your hardware device drivers from the Microsoft web
pages (unless it happens to be Microsoft Hardware.) And if possible - I
always suggest getting the latest drivers from the manufacturer instead of
living with the one that "works" with Windows installations. Likely better
performance and stability fixes that the manufacturer added that Microsoft
would have no clue nor care about. =)

Make sure you have the latest version of "ALL" of your hardware drivers.
They are updated periodically by the various manufacturers if problems are
detected in them and also to add new functionality to the hardware.

Thanks for that. I'll start investigating the problem

As others have said it indicates a problem with a driver. That
particular BSOD is not very common.
