We have a Win2K server domain, with laptops and PC's running WinXP Pro
operating system. When some of the users try to browse the network through
windows explorer it is sometimes slow in populating the folders and files.
I have checked the DC's registry for the 'IsDomainMaster' parameters in
'HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\Browser\Parameters' and it is set to
False. Should I change this to True?
How can I see what machine is set to be the Master Browser.
Could this be a problem with the Active Directory, Permissions, Security,
Master Browser...
Please Advise

I am having the same problem. I thought it was just a translation issue but
navigation to items added as a "Network Place" is very slow. However if I
navigate all the way from the top of the Directory Structure there is no
delay in populating folders.
Ideas?
