Hey Grp!
I'm a newB in deep water with all this, but at leasdt i
was able to nav. to a place where i might get some help.
Help!!! Sometimes, actually more frequently now lately
When i access my favourites folders and click on an addy
or nav. within an addy i get a window pop up which says:

"Internet Explorer has encountered a problem and needs to
close. We are sorry for the inconvenience. If you were in
the middle of something the information you were working
on might be lost. Please tell Microsoft the problem. We
have created an error report that you can send to help us
improve Internet Explorer. We will treat this report as
confidential and anonymous."

The last time this happened, about 5 min. ago the window
contained the following as well:

Erroe signature
AppName: iexplore.exe AppVer: 6.0.2800.1106 ModName:
mshtml.dll
ModVer: 6.0.2800.1170 Offset: 000b4430

The following files will be included in this error report:
C:\DOCUME~1\JIMTES~1\LOCALS~1\Temp\WER16.tmp.dir00
\appcompat.txt

Any help/attention would be grrrrrreat!!!

You need to empty out the temp directory. Follow the
path, open my computer - double left click local disk c: -
open documents and settings - the open your user name
folder - then open local settings - then open temp -
delete all fles in this temp directory.

I have the exact same problem. I couldn't find it how you described it.
Would it be:
My computer -> C-drive -> Windows -> Temp or
My computer -> C-drive -> Windows -> Temporary Internet Files?

Will not hurt to clear this out.
My computer -> C-drive -> Windows -> Temporary Internet Files?

Yes. Same as in Internet Explorer go to Tools >> Internet Options >>
Delete Files >> check Delete all offline content >> OK

ModName: mshtml.dll ModVer: 6.0.2800.1170 Offset: 000b4430

If you have the Yahoo Companion toolbar installed
try removing it.

Just did both of those things. Still can't use Google and some other
sites... Still get the annoying message.
