Browser Resolution ?

I have my screen resolution set at 800 x 600.
Yesterday, I go into IE; and the resolution seems to be lower -
The text is larger, and sites I visit no longer fill the screen, but "spill
over" so there is a scroll bar on the bottom.
Everything else on the desktop appears as it always had except for when I
open a browser session.
FWIW...
I was working from home today via VPN and hooked into the LAN at work. I
opened a browser session from my work desktop, and again, everything
appeared as it always had.
I signed off the LAN and opened IE on my (local) desktop and the resolution
was again lower.
Is there a separate setting for the browser's screen resolution?????

Have you checked out the "Text Size" setting from the IE "View" pull down?
Perhaps it got set to "Largest". If that is the case then perhaps setting it
to "Smallest" will return it to what you expect.
