Hi
I have IE6 on XP professional.
My browser will connect me to he net but if I have several
pages open it freezes.
If I disconnect, my modem will dial up but my browser is
not connected and so I get a "cannot find server error".
If I restart my computer I can once more connect and
browse as normal until the cycle repeats itself.
Any suggestions.
If I check my event viewer I note the following
application error: "Faulting application explorer.exe,
version 6.0.2800.1106, faulting module ntdll.dll, version
5.1.2600.1217, fault address 0x0003353b."
I have tried renameing this file and copying this file
from another computer , but when I exit the folder the
file is recreated the next time I go in, and so I have to
overwrite it. Still no joy.
Might this have something to do with the problem and if so
what do I do next?

Try this: Tools > Internet Options > Advanced > Browsing
Uncheck the Enable 3rd party browser extensions

If this clears your problem then find out who the culprit(s) is/are with
