My browswer was hijacked and SpyBot got most of it.
I cannot go to "tools" and "internet options" to change my
home page because an airbox pops up and says:

"This operation has been cancelled due to restrictions in
effect on this computer. Please contact your system
administrator."

Anyone know where this is located in the registry or how I
can reset this? I reinstalled IE 6 and it didn't help.

Thanks!!

Hi Rick,

Disable the following features in Spybot:
"Lock IE start page against user changes"
"Lock IE control panel against opening from within IE"

Ramesh,
I'd forgotten i clicked those buttons on SpyBot.
I'll give it a try.
Thanks again.

Rick,
Disabling those features is a bad idea! ......
That's why they are there - to "Immunize" your system.
Disable only to make a change, then enable the options as needed.
