None of that worked for me. If you have Windows 98 or ME,
look into IEradicator

I ended up going this route because nothing else worked.
It wasn't a virus, spyware, etc. I had the latest video
drivers from nVidia. IE 6 had been in for a few months
before the problem started. IE 6 has been reinstalled and
the browsing is smooth again. Something deep in the core
got screwed up and no one seems to know what it was. This
is a problem that was going on before IE 6, because if you
search at various newsgroups, they have questions dating
back over 2 years just like this one. I found IEradicator
on one of those sites. It worked so I have posted it as a
last resort solution several times now. Still no response
from anyone else, so be careful using it...definitely read
readme file first.
I don't assume I know more than anyone else here, I just
think that the more suggestions we give, the more likely
one of them will work.
