Browser going inop.

While using a browesr, ( Does not matter if it's IE or
NS ) At some point I will get a " www.***.com has refused
your connection " and the browser will not go to a new
page. you can go back to pages already visted but the
links will not work. Rebooting system clears problem but
only for a short while. Any ideas?

512 meg ram

Scan with current antivirus using updated definitions. Remove spyware
with Spybot S&D and/or Ad-aware. Delete temporary and Temporary
Internet Files. Once you know the computer is clean, if the problem
still persists then post back with more details.
