Broke off AGP clip

Hmm, guess the last time I pulled this system apart I broke off the AGP
clip.

It now appears the video card won't work without this clip on an ASUS P4S533
board.
I don't think I have the clip anymore either, can this be fixed or can the
jumpers be set to allow the video card to work without the clip?

Any help appreciated.

It shouldn't make any difference. Its a lump of plastic. Just make sure
the AGP card is seated properly

If Pac-Man affected us as kids, we'd all be running around in darkened
rooms, munching magic pills and listening to repetitive electronic
music.

Sorry. You can either switch to using a PCI video card (slowww), or buy a
new motherboard.

The clip has no electrical connections. The motherboard and video
card have no awareness of whether a clip is in place or not, or even
if one exists. As long as the board is seated properly, it should
work, clip or no clip.
