Briefcase Properties - Strange

i set up a briefcase on a customer's laptop this morning. It was
working fine when I left. This afternoon he calls saying it won't update.
I pop over and take a look. Sure enough, a message about a file being
read only comes up. But the file properties say it ain't so. I go to the
properties for the briefcase, and it says the briefcase itself is read only.
I uncheck the box, click OK and try again. Same message. I look at
properties again - still read only. Nothing I do will change this. He's
got several changed files in there - I hate to delete it and start over...

Any ideas?

Hi Sven,

Does the same thing happen with a new briefcase?

C:\WINDOWS\system32\dllcache. Look for a file named "syncapp" and double
click it. An icon should appear on your desktop that says "My Briefcase".

Restore or Place Briefcase to the Desktop (Line 147)
