When I boot up I always receive the following error
message:
Error loading C:\windows\system\bridge.dll
Specified module could not be found.

I have a network set up with another computer using
Microsoft network and I understand that may have something
do to with it. The network worked for about a month with
no error.

Hi Doug,

Bridge.dll indicates the presence of spyware.

You may download and install the Ad-aware spyware removal utility from the
following Web site:
http://www.webattack.com/get/adaware.shtml

Initiate the Adaware and it will deep scan the registry for spywares, After
the scan is finished, click [Next] button. Select all the items
(checkboxes). right click on any object in the "Scan result" list and choose
[Select all objects], Click Next and click OK to confirm spyware removal.

Bridge.dll is used as part of spyware. What happens after the program is deleted by AdAware or SpyBot SD, the pointer remains so you keep getting an error message on start-up. The easiest way to clean it out is to use HiJack This. The program gives you a log sheet and the folks at Computer Cops can then review it and tell you which lines need to be fixed, which HiJack This can do. They can be found at http://computercops.biz

It worked for me.
