Am running Windows Xp home with sp 1.
recently suddenly on boot up an error message comes up
stating that the bridge.dll file cannot be loaded or
found.
what is causing this and what can be done ?
is bridge.dll part of service pack 1 ?
 
Good question. Hold on while I look for it on the Internet....I've got
Google up and I'm typing in bridge.dll as the search term...just a second
now...about 11,000 hits, wow...

....wait a second. Couldn't you do this yourself?

There again you could just say, "Let Google be your friend." and give
him the URL of the search query that you took the trouble to do. We
don't need more sarcasm - what we need is a better kind of cleverness :)

Sorry about that. But I find it hard to believe that someone accustomed to
using the Internet is not "clever" enough to look something up in a search
engine, perhaps because it's just easier to ask someone else to do it.
