Box Listing

I must have done something I did not intend that caused the list in my
outbox to change and I cannot change it back.

The format I want: I have a heading that contains (for the inbox) From,
Subject, Received. Each msg has one line that contains whatever the
headings call for.

The format I do not want: I have a similar heading (for outbox) To,
Subject, Sent. Each message has a button with a plus sign and the text
Sent: date, time (1 item). If I click the button with the plus, the plus
turns into minus and a second line appears containing the info the
heading calls for.

How do I change what I do not want into what I do?

Thanks,

Leo

You have group by enabled. Right click on the heading row and choose Show
Group by box. Drag the field out of the box to remove the field from the
group by box and repeat the steps to close the group by box.

Thanks, Diane, but I cannot follow. I right click on heading row, get a menu,
and pick Group by Box (no Show Group by Box available).

Drag what field out of which box?

Click the group by menu - it will open a small window over the inbox and
there should be a field button in the box. Drag it out of there and leave go
of the mouse button when the cursor gets an x on it.

You can also reset the view to remove it - Views menu, find the menu for
Define Views and edit the view you are using - don't choose current view,
choose the view by name, it's usually messages.
