Borders on page

I am putting a border oround the page, when I go to print preview it looks
ok.When I print the page the border is missing from the bottom of the page
but is ok for the other 3 sides.

Is this something to do with margins? I have tried to alter them but doesn`t
seem to make a difference.
Sometimes I get a message ` page is outside the printable area` I click to
resize but border is still missing from the bottom of the page.

I am newish to word so probably my fault but can`t seem to correct this.
