I am working on a Winxp Home computer, and would like to know if there is a
way to create a bootable cdrom.

Thanks

If you've got the XP CD it's already bootable. so, your PCs BIOS, you just
need to make sure CD drive is before the hard disc in the boot sequence.

Otherwise if you want to do something like splipstream service pack 2 into
an older XP Home CD, goole for "XP Splitstream SP2" (without the quotes)

I don't have access to my xp cd

What do you want the cd you create to boot? If you have an .iso image or
the like, you'll need third-party burning software. XP's built-in
burning capabilities don't include the advanced options you need. Look
at Nero, Roxio, or other third-party programs which do.

If you are trying to repair a XP Home installation, you'll need the XP
cd. Either borrow one that matches the installation (Home>OEM for ex.)
or take the machine to a local shop.
