Would appreciate any help I can get on this. When I boot up XP Pro
on my Compaq I notice a white wide cursor type flashing on the right top
side of the screen followed by instructions telling me to press one of the F
keys. After hitting the F key it finally completes the boot up process and I
finally get my Windows XP Pro screen. Can someone tells me why I cannot get
my boot process complete without going thru that extra F key step? It
causes me to keep my computer running all the time so I don't require
spending the extra time waiting for the boot cycle.
