Ok when i boot up i no longer see my orginal boot screen
that said professional, now it just says Windows XP and
it says this on both of my computers that have Home
Edition and Professional, here's a link with 2 photos
that shows what im talking about, if any one else has
this problem let me know. http://www.angelfire.com/sd2/ahs/xp.html

Same problem as me Michael. This actually occurred in the last but one beta
of the software before Microsoft went rtm (release to manufacturer) with it.
It was bugged at the time and I assumed they had fixed it, but as we both
can attest, they haven't. Either way it is only a minor cosmetic blip!

Every time I read a post from you, I wonder where you obtained your MVPship
from - probably bought it on eBay.

It isn't a "minor cosmetic blip" it's by design - as you should know as an
MVP. It was removed because there are now so many versions of XP (Pro, Home,
MCE, Tablet, etc) that it was decided to make them all uniform.

How can it require fixing when that's how it's supposed to be?!

I think someone's MVPship will be under scrutiny come October...
