RONALD WATERS

I was running Windows ME and tried to upgrade to windows XP. During the
upgrade there was a problem and I decided to un-install windows XP.

Every thing works ok, however when the OS loader screen comes up it gives me
two options,
1. start windows xp setup.
2 cancel windows xp set up.
I have to select cancel windows xp setup for windows me to start.

If I don't select anything the computer starts all over just like you were
booting up for the first time.

How can I get rid of this?

Ron,

Hi Ron,

Assuming you are now back to WinME, boot a startup floppy and run SYS C: to
overwrite the WinXP bootloader with the 9x code.
